Sometimes We Choose to Initiate our Own Change

Life is full of change. Most notable of late, we have all had to change our daily routines and habits to ride the waves of a pandemic sweeping across our Nation and our World. In just a few short weeks, we realized life as we knew it was changing. For many, this change has not been easy.  It has caused economic strife and incidences of depression to skyrocket leaving some to feel hopeless and uncertain of their future. This pandemic is health-centered.  Our family, friends and neighbors have become sick and way too many have died because of an illness their body could not rise above. This change was not a choice but something to be endured, like it or not.

But what about change we choose? What triggers the desire for change? What is the turning point in someone’s life when they decide “I want change in my life? I want things to be different.”  What thoughts, feelings and emotions do you experience when you decide you are ready for change and commit to make necessary adjustments in your life? Maybe you want to feel better, exercise more, eat healthier, consume less alcohol, drink more water. Perhaps you want to learn how to be more mindful, live in the moment.  Or maybe you just simply want to focus on self-compassion and learn new ways to adopt self-care into your life. Whatever your reasons and desires, I welcome you to reach out and connect with me so we can propel you to a place you choose to be! The definition of change is to make or become different. Imagine different…change starts here and I am excited for you.
